Another character builder today.
Strength work was sumo dead lifts 5 sets, 5 reps, did 155lbs (probably could have gone a bit heavier)
WOD was a straightforward affair
Row 1000m
10 ropes climbs (or 10 rope get-ups plus 20 ring rows)
40 thrusters (yay! my favorite! not.) thankfully only 45#
My
plan was to do the rope climbs. I had great success last time in the
team WOD with Nat. Apparently after a 1000m row, rope climbing is a more
challenging that I expected! I got 2 ascents before I had to switch to
plan B. Thankfully for each ascent I subtracted 1 get-up and 2 ring
rows leaving 8 and 16 respectively.
Thrusters were brutal, even at 45#.
Took me 13:14. Hams are gonna be a mess tomorrow!
